The Foundation's soon-to-be first supported school in South Africa, Safari Primary, is located in the small town of Hluhluwe in northern KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. It is situated between iSimangaliso Wetland Park and Hluhluwe–iMfolozi Park on the banks of the Hluhluwe River.

At Safari Primary, the Foundation will be funding for the installation of new bathrooms with proper washing facilities. A 5,000 liter water tank will also be installed to better support the school's water needs. In addition to these building and infrastructure projects funded by the Foundation, Gate 1 invites tour passengers, who visit our schools as part of their itineraries, to bring small items that are needed but in short supply, to give to the school's students. In this way, Gate 1 Foundation is able to supplement its large-scale contributions with essential educational supplies, which students' families are often unable to afford, thereby multiplying our positive impact on communities.
